What is EFT?
Emotional Freedom Technique involves tapping on the energy meridians of the body, in order to reduce emotional and psychological distress. When we perceive a situation to be threatening, a message is sent to the amygdala, the part of the brain responsible for identifying threat, and the ‘Fight or Flight ‘ response is triggered resulting in physiological symptoms of fear such as increased heart rate, sweating, shaking etc. It is believed that EFT works by interrupting the messages alerting the brain of danger, dramatically reducing anxiety symptoms.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming is based on the idea that we experience the world through our senses and translate this sensory information into thought processes, both conscious and unconscious. These thought processes affect our physiology, emotions and behaviour. Using NLP techniques, we can quickly and effectively recode our experiences, therefore changing the resulting physiology, emotions and subsequently behaviour.
